The NITRAS UTILITY STEP is a safety shoe designed for anyone who needs dependable foot protection with a sporty look on the job. Its slim silhouette hides a full S3 specification, making it a solid choice across trades, logistics, industry and technical roles where safety shouldn't come at the expense of comfort.
The upper is made from hard-wearing Action Leather in black, tough enough for daily wear while staying supple on the foot. The PU/PU outsole is resistant and non-marking, which matters on indoor floors and sensitive surfaces where scuff marks aren't an option. A heel lining makes the shoe easy to slip on and off throughout the day, while a reinforced microfibre heel adds extra stability. The ergonomically shaped insole supports the foot during long shifts on your feet.
The fiberglass toe cap guards against impact and compression injuries while staying lighter than a comparable steel cap, and being completely metal-free it won't set off metal detectors. A textile penetration-resistant midsole adds further protection against sharp objects underfoot, again without any metal content. The SR slip resistance rating delivers reliable grip across different surfaces, and the ESD rating makes the shoe suitable for workplaces with electrostatic discharge risks. Reflective strips improve visibility in low light. Certified to DGUV Rule 112-191, the shoe meets recognised safety standards for professional use.
