The STEP MID from Nitras is a mid-cut safety boot built for anyone who needs a dependable companion on construction sites, in warehouses, or on the factory floor throughout a full shift. It combines the stability of a boot with a level of comfort that holds up over long working hours, all wrapped in a design that looks far from purely functional.
The durable full-grain leather in black gives the boot a rugged, long-lasting appearance that stands up well to tough conditions. The resilient PU/TPU outsole in grey and black provides a solid base that delivers secure footing across different surfaces. A flattened heel supports a natural rolling motion while walking, and the well-padded shaft offers noticeable support and added comfort. The ergonomically shaped insole rounds off the comfortable fit, even during hours of continuous wear.
Safety is clearly at the core of this model: the steel toe cap protects against impact and compression, while the puncture-resistant steel midsole guards against sharp objects underfoot. An extra toe bumper shields the front of the boot from knocks and helps extend its service life. The best-possible slip resistance rating (SR) adds further security on smooth or wet surfaces. The boot is classified as S3 and tested to DGUV Regel 112-191, confirming it as certified personal protective equipment in category II.
