These painter's trousers from Blaklader are built for painters, bricklayers and tilers who need a rugged pair of trousers with a well-thought-out pocket layout for carrying tools all day long. Fitted with nail pockets, a putty knife pocket and a knife pocket, they are designed for tradespeople who need their tools within easy reach without losing freedom of movement.
The outer fabric is a lightweight ripstop material made from cotton and polyester at 250 g/m², which despite its low weight offers strong tear resistance and holds up well against everyday wear. Stretch panels at the crotch, knees and calves mean that bending, kneeling and lunging movements are never restricted, which makes a real difference when working on ladders or close to the floor. The top-loading kneepad pockets are made from CORDURA® stretch fabric with stretch material on both the inside and outside, allowing them to move ergonomically with the leg while kneeling. The tool and putty knife pocket is also CORDURA®-reinforced, so it copes well with daily contact against sharp tool edges.
Alongside the standard back and side pockets with zip closure, the trousers include a bellow leg pocket, a pen pocket, an inner mesh phone pocket and a ruler pocket for brushes and measuring tools. A hammer loop, a D-ring and a plastic zip at the crotch complete the setup, while subtle reflective details add extra visibility. The leg ends can be adjusted with buttons, letting the trousers be fitted to different footwear and working conditions.
