The Blaklader X1500 painter's work trousers are built for painters, bricklayers and tilers, with a design shaped around the day-to-day demands of these trades. The relaxed, ergonomically pre-shaped legs give plenty of freedom of movement on ladders, crouching or working at floor level, without the fabric pulling or restricting.
The trousers are made from 100% cotton twill at 320 g/m², a sturdy, firm-handling fabric that holds its shape well through regular wear and washing. High-wear areas such as the front pockets, back pockets, ruler pocket, leg pockets, knees and lower leg hems are reinforced with CORDURA®, adding extra resistance to abrasion, while double-layered fabric at the thigh provides further protection. Adjustable leg hems with a drawcord keep the fit secure during movement.
For everyday work on site, the trousers come with a wide range of practical pockets: one leg pocket is designed specifically for putty knives and brushes, alongside knee pad pockets, bellows-style back pockets, a zipped thigh pocket and tool pockets with loops for painting tools. A pen pocket, an inner mesh phone pocket and a detachable ID card pocket complete the setup, along with a side hammer loop and metal buttons for fastening. The trousers are certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100.
