These painter trousers from Blaklader are built for painters, bricklayers and tilers who need full freedom of movement on the job without the trousers giving way under hard use. The slim, close-cut fit stays out of the way when climbing a ladder or crouching down, while purpose-cut pockets for brushes, putty knives and paint scrapers keep tools within easy reach.
The fabric is a double-woven 4-way stretch material made from 92% polyamide and 8% elastane at 230 g/m², smooth against the skin and stretching in every direction. That pays off during overhead work or repeated bending, since the fabric moves with the body instead of holding it back. The knee area is further reinforced with CORDURA® stretch, tough on the outside while staying flexible on the inside, and a soft mesh panel at the back of the knee adds ventilation when things heat up on site. A reinforced leg hem protects the most exposed part of the trouser from wear.
Reflective details on the calf and leg pocket improve visibility in low light. A range of thoughtful features, including a removable ID pocket, a D-ring on the waistband for tools, and a belt loop with a hammer holder, show that these trousers are designed for daily use on the building site. Certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100, the fabric is also tested for harmful substances, a real plus for workwear worn close to the skin all day.
