These painter's trousers from Blaklader are built for anyone who needs full freedom of movement on the job without giving up durability – painters, bricklayers and tilers in particular will appreciate the close, athletic fit paired with a smart pocket layout. Purpose-shaped pockets for brushes, filling knives and painting knives, plus nail pockets, keep tools within reach instead of getting lost in ordinary trouser pockets.
The fabric is 92% polyamide and 8% elastane, double-woven and stretchy in every direction. In practice, that means the trousers move with you through squats, lunges and overhead work instead of pulling tight, while feeling soft rather than stiff against the skin. The knee pad pockets are reinforced on the outside with CORDURA® stretch and lined with additional stretch fabric on the inside, so they hold up well through repeated kneeling on rough surfaces, while soft mesh at the back of the knee keeps air moving so things don't get too warm. The back of the leg hem is reinforced too, right where walking and kneeling create the most friction.
The trousers also feature reflective details on the calf and leg pocket for better visibility, along with practical extras such as a removable ID pocket, a knife holder with a button fastening, and a front belt loop with a D-ring. The Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification confirms the textiles have been tested for harmful substances, a real plus given how close to the skin workwear sits all day. The trousers come in white/dark grey and span a wide size range for both men and women.
