These painter's trousers from Blaklader are designed for painters, bricklayers and tilers who need a sturdy pair of work trousers with a well-thought-out pocket layout for everyday tasks on site. The relaxed fit gives plenty of freedom of movement when kneeling, bending or working on a ladder, while the numerous pockets keep every tool within easy reach.
The cotton fabric is woven in a twill pattern at 320 g/m² and feels comfortable against the skin while absorbing moisture effectively, which is particularly useful for painters since paint splashes are less likely to reach the skin directly. The knees, seat pockets and spatula pocket are reinforced with durable CORDURA®, protecting exactly the areas that see the most friction and strain during daily use. The knee pad pockets hold knee protection and ease the strain on joints when kneeling on tiles or screed. Metal buttons, a plastic zip in the crotch and a triple-stitched inseam add durability even with frequent wear and washing.
The trousers are certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100, meaning the fabric has been tested for harmful substances and is safe to wear against the skin. Combined with certain knee pads, the trousers also meet EN 14404-3, the standard covering knee protection for kneeling work.
With a pencil pocket, phone pocket, ID pocket and a specially adapted spatula pocket, these trousers are particularly well suited to painters, bricklayers and tilers who need quick access to their tools on the job site or during interior work.
