The MaxiCut® Ultra™ from ATG® is a cut-resistant glove built for precision work in dry conditions, designed for anyone who needs strong protection without sacrificing dexterity. As a refined, even thinner and more comfortable evolution of the MaxiCut® range, it suits users who are not willing to trade safety for freedom of movement.
The liner, knitted from nylon, polyester, UHMWPE, spandex and tungsten, creates a fine, elastic construction that hugs the hand closely and stays breathable even during extended wear. The NBR (nitrile butadiene rubber) coating, enhanced by DURAtech® technology, noticeably boosts abrasion resistance, so the glove holds its shape and protective performance even with frequent contact against rough surfaces or workpieces, all while remaining flexible rather than bulky.
In terms of protection, the MaxiCut® Ultra™ meets EN 16350:2014 for electrostatic properties, EN ISO 21420:2020+A1:2024 as the general requirement for protective gloves, and EN 388:2016+A1:2018 for mechanical risks such as cutting, abrasion and puncture. This places it in PPE Category II, making it suitable for tasks involving genuine cut exposure where fine hand movement still needs to be unrestricted. Compliance with Regulation (EC) 1935/2004 further confirms its suitability for food contact.
The glove is used across a wide range of industries wherever precision and cut protection matter equally: in construction and road building, the electrical industry, waste management, vehicle and aircraft manufacturing, firefighting, forestry, gardening and agriculture, as well as in skilled trades and mechanical engineering.
