The ATG® MaxiCut® Ultra™ cut-resistant sleeve is designed for precision work carried out in dry conditions, where the forearms need the same level of protection as the hands. At 40 cm long, it covers the forearm reliably, extending cut protection beyond the glove for tasks that carry a genuine risk of cuts.
The sleeve is made from a blend of UHMWPE, glass fibre, nylon, polyester and spandex, with no coating and no silicone. This combination is what gives the CUTtech® fibre its high cut resistance, while keeping the sleeve flexible rather than stiff or bulky. The ERGOtech® construction adds a high level of wearing comfort, so the sleeve stays comfortable during extended use without restricting movement. It can also be washed at up to 40°C, making it practical for everyday work use.
As Category II PPE, the sleeve meets the general requirements of EN ISO 21420:2020 for protective gloves and is tested to EN 388:2016+A1:2018 for mechanical risks, particularly cut resistance. In practical terms, this means the sleeve provides dependable protection for the arms against cuts from sharp-edged materials or tools.
Thanks to this combination of cut protection and comfort, the MaxiCut® Ultra™ sleeve suits a wide range of industries with high cut-risk exposure, including construction and road building, the electrical industry, vehicle and aircraft manufacturing, waste management, forestry, gardening and agriculture, as well as public authorities and organisations.
