Stokosept® protect is an alcohol-based disinfectant gel that combines hand disinfection with skin care in a single product. It is designed for anyone whose daily work involves frequent hand disinfection, keeping skin from drying out or cracking even with regular use. The 1-litre bottle comes as part of a 9-bottle pack, making it well suited to ongoing use with dispenser systems in businesses.
The formula is built around a purified witch hazel (Hamamelis) extract, whose astringent effect firms the skin's outer layer and helps protect against softening caused by frequent contact with disinfectants. This is complemented by a care and moisturising complex of panthenol and glycerin, which keeps skin supple without leaving a greasy film. Being free from dyes and silicone, and unscented, the gel is also suitable for sensitive skin and for settings where fragrance or silicone residues are unwanted. It can be applied without water and is compatible with gloves and other personal protective equipment.
Its high alcohol content qualifies Stokosept® protect for hygienic hand disinfection according to EN 1500. In practical terms, this means its effectiveness against the microbial flora present on the skin has been demonstrated using a recognised test method. The gel is effective against bacteria, fungi, yeasts, and HBV and HIV viruses.
