The MaxiCut® Oil™ (item 2483) is a knitted cut-resistant glove built for mechanical precision work carried out in oily or wet conditions. It suits anyone who needs a reliable grip and dependable cut protection even when surfaces are slippery, without sacrificing dexterity for fine handling.
The liner, a blended fabric of UHMWPE, glass fibre, nylon and spandex, gives the glove a light, stretchy fit that hugs the hand closely and stays breathable during extended wear. The ¾ coating of patented nitrile micro-foam is silicone-free and adds strong abrasion resistance while still allowing the fingertip sensitivity needed for detailed tasks.
The protection comes from three combined technologies: LIQUItech® repels liquids, keeping oil and moisture at bay, CUTtech® delivers the high cut resistance, and the GRIPtech® micro-cup coating provides a firm hold even on oily surfaces. The glove is tested to EN ISO 21420:2020 for general glove requirements, EN 388:2016+A1:2018 for mechanical risks such as cutting, abrasion and tearing, and EN 407:2020 for heat and flame risks. It falls under PPE category II.
This makes the MaxiCut® Oil™ well suited to precision work involving cut hazards across sectors such as construction, road building, electrical industry, automotive and aerospace manufacturing, printing, waste management, forestry, agriculture and horticulture, as well as public authorities, organisations and fire services.
