Product information "MaxiCut Ultra Cut Protection Arm Sleeve with Thumb (89-5745CH)"
The ATG® MaxiCut® Ultra™ cut-resistant sleeve extends hand protection along the entire forearm and connects seamlessly to the glove thanks to its thumb hole. At 45 cm long, it is designed for precision work carried out in dry conditions where cut protection needs and where the forearm also requires coverage.
Its knitted blend of cotton, polyester, polyacrylic, spandex, UHMWPE, glass fibre, nylon and Kevlar® combines solid protective performance with genuine wearing comfort, typical of an uncoated fabric construction. This keeps the sleeve breathable and comfortable over extended wear, even during fine, focused tasks that demand freedom of movement.
Tested to EN ISO 21420:2020, the baseline standard for protective gloves, EN 388:2016+A1:2018 for mechanical risks such as cutting, abrasion, tearing and puncture, and EN 407:2020 for thermal risks, the sleeve delivers dependable protection for work involving a high risk of cuts. As Category II PPE, it is rated for intermediate-level hazards.
Typical users of the MaxiCut® Ultra™ sleeve include workers in construction and road building, the electrical industry, vehicle and aircraft manufacturing, waste management, public authorities and organisations, and forestry, gardening and agriculture – anywhere precision work under dry conditions carries a high risk of cuts.
