Product information "Flame Protection Vest 3498"
The Blaklader flame-resistant undershirt is the base layer for anyone who needs continuous protection against heat, flames and arc flash underneath their protective clothing. Worn directly against the skin, it has to do two things at once: protect reliably and stay comfortable all shift long. That is exactly the job of this ribbed undershirt with a round neck and ribbed cuffs.
Knitted from 59% Modacrylic, 39% cotton and 2% antistatic fibre at 220 g/m², the fabric feels soft and stretches with movement instead of restricting it. That makes it comfortable to wear as an extra layer underneath additional protective gear throughout a full working day. Because the flame resistance and antistatic properties are built into the fibre itself, the protection stays intact for the life of the garment rather than wearing off over time.
The undershirt is certified to EN 1149-5 for antistatic clothing that dissipates electrostatic charge, and to EN ISO 11612 A1, B1, C1 for protection against heat and flame. It is also tested to IEC 61482-2 Class 1 for arc flash exposure, with an Arc Rating of 4.4 cal/cm² and an HAF value of 69.1%, giving a dependable level of protection when it matters. The Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification confirms the fabric has also been tested for harmful substances.
This makes the undershirt a strong choice for electricians, welders, and road and construction workers who face heat, open flame or arc flash risks on the job and need a reliable yet comfortable base layer to wear under their protective clothing.
