Product information "Flame Protection Coverall 6704"
This Blaklader coverall is built for tradesmen, electricians, welders, and road and construction workers who face heat, flames or arc flash risks on the job. Adjustable cuffs, an elasticated waist and a back pleat keep the coverall in place through a full range of movement without restricting the wearer. Practical features such as the ruler pocket, multiple flapped pockets and loops for a gas detector or microphone make it a genuinely functional choice for site and industrial work.
The fabric is a cotton, polyester and antistatic fibre blend in twill weave, weighing 350 g/m². That combination gives a sturdy yet comfortable material that is flame-retardant while staying oil-, dirt- and water-repellent. The concealed zip and concealed button placket with metal buttons keep the fastenings shielded from sparks and grime, and the coverall's suitability for industrial laundering to EN ISO 15797 means it can go through professional laundry cycles without issue.
The certifications cover a wide range of hazards: EN ISO 11611 confirms protection for welding work, EN ISO 11612 protects against heat and flame, EN 13034 Type 6 gives limited protection against liquid splashes, and IEC 61482-2 confirms suitability for work with arc flash exposure. The antistatic treatment to EN 1149-5 prevents dangerous static build-up on the wearer, which matters particularly in explosive atmospheres. The ATPV rating of 16.0 cal/cm² indicates how much thermal energy the fabric can withstand in an arc flash event before second-degree burns would occur.
That makes this coverall a strong fit for professionals in electrical work, welding, and road or construction trades, where several hazards can occur at once and a single garment with multiple certifications delivers real practical value.
