Product information "Work Trousers Inherent"
These Blaklader work trousers are designed for tradespeople and electricians who work in higher-risk environments but still want genuine wearing comfort. The fabric is soft and flexible, and the trousers are entirely metal-free, with plastic buttons and zips that make them suitable for work near electrical installations.
The material blend of modacrylic, cotton, FR polyamide and aramid is inherently flame-resistant, meaning the protection is built into the fibres rather than relying on a coating that could wear off after repeated washing. The outer fabric also repels oil, dirt and water, which keeps the trousers manageable even under heavy use on site or in industrial settings. Pre-shaped knees with kneepad pockets accessible from below, a raised back with elastic side waist, and adjustable ankle width all help the fit stay comfortable through long shifts. Reflective details on the legs add extra visibility in low light.
The trousers carry certification against several standards, each covering a different type of hazard: EN ISO 11612 protects against heat and flame, EN ISO 11611 covers welding hazards, EN 61482-2 addresses the effects of an electric arc, and EN 13034 protects against certain chemical splashes. EN 1149-5 confirms the antistatic properties, which help prevent a dangerous build-up of static charge. According to the manufacturer, all protective properties are retained for up to 50 industrial washes under EN ISO 15797, making the garment practical for professional laundering services too.
This makes the trousers a strong fit for electricians, welders and tradespeople working in industrial environments with flame, arc or chemical splash hazards, who need protective workwear that still feels like an ordinary pair of work trousers day to day.
