The Blaklader Flame Retardant Winter Jacket APC 2 is built for anyone working under increased risk in cold conditions, from electricians and welders to tradespeople who need dependable protective outerwear for winter jobs. An extended back, pre-shaped sleeves and an adjustable waist with hook-and-loop fastening keep the jacket in place and comfortable even during active work.
The outer shell is a sturdy cotton-polyester twill with an antistatic fibre blend, finished to repel water, oil and dirt while providing warm insulation. In practice this means the jacket keeps out moisture and grime without feeling stiff, and the warm lining makes it wearable even at low temperatures. The concealed, reinforced metal zipper along with the set-in pockets with flaps and the zip-close chest pocket are designed to hold up to daily use on site or in the workshop.
The certifications cover a wide range of hazards: EN ISO 11611 protects against sparks and brief contact with flames during welding, EN ISO 11612 against heat and flame more broadly, EN 13034 against limited exposure to chemicals, and EN 342 against cold, which matters directly for a winter jacket. EN 1149-5 provides the antistatic, dissipative property of the fabric, while IEC 61482-2 confirms protection against electric arc exposure, rated at an ATPV value of 16.0 cal/cm².
