The RUNNEX® LightStar is an S1PS safety shoe designed for anyone who values low weight just as much as reliable protection during the workday. It suits people who are constantly on the move and want a shoe that feels light and unobtrusive rather than bulky and heavy.
The microfibre upper is combined with breathable textile inserts, which makes for a noticeably more comfortable feel, especially over long shifts. Inside, the RUNNEX® AIRSTREAM functional lining keeps the foot climate pleasant, while the RUNNEX® SOFTtouch heel lining adds extra comfort around the heel. The rubber outsole with Phylon midsole cushions every step, which is particularly noticeable on hard flooring.
As a safety shoe certified to EN ISO ISO 20345:2022 in class S1PS FO, the LightStar combines several protective features in one shoe: the RUNNEX® aluminium toe cap guards the toes against impact and compression, the P marking indicates a penetration-resistant sole, S covers further basic requirements such as fuel resistance, and FO confirms that the sole resists fuel and oil. That makes it a solid choice for dry working environments with mechanical hazards.
This makes the LightStar particularly well suited to industry, trades, warehousing and logistics – anywhere staff are on their feet on dry floors and need a lightweight yet dependable safety shoe.
