The RUNNEX® FlexStar is an S1PS-rated safety shoe with ESD capability, designed for people working in industry and logistics who are on their feet all day and need a light, flexible shoe rather than a heavy, clunky boot. It's built for anyone who spends long shifts walking and standing and still wants footwear that feels easy to move in.
The upper combines high-quality microfibre material with textile inserts, keeping the shoe light while holding its shape well over time. Inside, the RUNNEX® AIRSTREAM functional lining keeps air circulating for a breathable fit, and the RUNNEX® SOFTtouch heel lining adds comfort around the heel. The black PU outsole with coloured PU midsole, together with the RUNNEX® activeBumper cushioning, absorbs impact with every step. In everyday use, that translates into less fatigue, a drier feel inside the shoe, and footwear that keeps its shape even after extended wear.
On the safety side, the FlexStar meets EN ISO 20345:2022+A1:2024 in class S1PS FO, featuring an aluminium toe cap (RUNNEX® Alu-Protect) and a penetration-resistant sole. Its ESD capability, certified to EN 61340-4-3:2001, safely discharges static electricity, protecting both sensitive equipment and the wearer in electrostatically sensitive environments. Classified as PPE Category II, the shoe is designed for medium-risk applications and listed under DGUV112-191.
This makes the FlexStar a strong fit for dry-area work in industry, trades, warehousing and logistics, as well as for ESD workplaces where static discharge poses a risk to people or equipment. Available in sizes 36 to 48, it covers a wide range of foot sizes for workplace use.
