The RUNNEX® FlexStar is an S1PS safety shoe with ESD properties, designed for anyone working on their feet in industrial or logistics environments who wants footwear that feels light and flexible rather than bulky. It's aimed at people who want the protection of a safety shoe without giving up the comfort and agility of a trainer-style build.
The microfibre upper combined with textile inserts keeps the shoe pleasantly light and highly breathable, which makes a real difference over long shifts or when you're constantly moving. Inside, the RUNNEX® AIRSTREAM functional lining supports the shoe's climate management, while the RUNNEX® SOFTtouch heel lining adds extra comfort around the heel. The black PU outsole with white PU midsole and the RUNNEX® activeBumper cushioning give the shoe a springy, fatigue-reducing feel with every step.
As an S1PS shoe certified to EN ISO 20345:2022+A1:2024, the FlexStar protects against mechanical hazards thanks to its built-in RUNNEX® aluminium toe cap and penetration-resistant construction, and its outsole is also fuel-resistant (FO). The additional EN 61340-4-3:2001 certification confirms the shoe's ESD capability, meaning it safely dissipates static electricity, making it suitable for workplaces where sensitive electronics or flammable materials are present. It also meets the requirements of DGUV112-191.
This makes the FlexStar a strong choice for dry areas in industry, trades, warehousing and logistics, as well as for ESD workstations where static discharge needs to be controlled, such as in electronics assembly or when handling sensitive components.
