The RUNNEX® S1PS-ESD safety shoes atop FlexStar are built for anyone who wants a lightweight, sporty safety shoe that goes on and off in seconds. Instead of traditional lacing, the atop quick-release closure lets you adjust fit instantly and precisely – ideal for workplaces with frequent shoe changes or anyone who simply wants to skip tying laces.
The breathable mesh upper keeps feet comfortable even during long shifts, while TPU reinforcements at the toe and heel protect the areas that see the most wear. Inside, the RUNNEX® SPORTY functional lining combined with the RUNNEX® SOFTtouch heel lining creates a soft, cushioned feel that's closer to a sports shoe than typical safety footwear. The grey PU outsole with black PU midsole, together with RUNNEX® activeBumper cushioning, absorbs impact noticeably well during walking and standing.
Tested to EN ISO 20345:2022+A1:2024 in safety class S1PS FO, the shoe delivers essential protection for dry work environments, including a penetration-resistant, fuel-resistant sole. Additional certification to EN 61340-5-1:2016 makes it ESD-safe: it discharges static electricity in a controlled way, protecting sensitive electronic components and equipment from damage. Classification under DGUV112-191 confirms its suitability for professional use.
This makes the FlexStar a strong choice for dry areas in industry, warehousing and trade, as well as for ESD workplaces where controlling static discharge is essential.
