The RUNNEX® FlexStar is an S1PS safety shoe with ESD properties, designed for anyone who needs lightweight footwear with dependable protection through long working days. Its low weight and flexibility make it a strong choice for industry and logistics, where constant movement and long hours on your feet are part of the job.
The microfibre upper with textile inserts gives the shoe a comfortable fit that moves well with the foot. Inside, the RUNNEX® AIRSTREAM functional lining supports breathability, while the RUNNEX® SOFTtouch heel lining adds extra comfort around the heel. The black PU outsole with coloured PU midsole, combined with the RUNNEX® EVA cushioning system, absorbs impact during walking and standing, which makes a noticeable difference when the shoe is worn all day.
As an S1PS safety shoe according to EN ISO 20345:2022+A1:2024, the FlexStar protects the toes with an aluminium toe cap against impact and compression, features a penetration-resistant sole (P), and offers reliable slip resistance (S1). The FO marking indicates that the outsole is resistant to fuel oil. It also meets EN 61340-4-3:2001 for electrostatic dissipation (ESD), helping to protect sensitive electronic components and ESD-sensitive work environments from static discharge. DGUV112-191 confirms its suitability as safety footwear under German occupational safety standards.
This makes the FlexStar a practical choice for dry working environments in industry, trades, warehousing and logistics, as well as for ESD workstations where static discharge could pose a risk to people or equipment.
