The RUNNEX® FlexStar is an S1PS safety shoe with ESD properties, designed for anyone who spends long hours on their feet and needs footwear that stays light and flexible throughout the shift. It suits workers in industry, trades, warehousing and logistics who want genuine comfort without giving up on protection.
The upper is made from high-quality microfibre with perforation across the quarter and vamp, combined with textile inserts that make the shoe noticeably breathable – a real benefit during long wear or in warm working environments. Inside, the RUNNEX® SPORTY functional lining keeps the foot climate pleasant, while the RUNNEX® SOFTtouch heel lining adds extra comfort around the heel. The black PU outsole paired with a white PU midsole and RUNNEX® activeBumper cushioning keeps the shoe light on the foot and absorbs impact with every step.
On the protection side, the FlexStar meets EN ISO 20345:2022+A1:2024 in class S1PS FO, which covers features such as toe protection, a penetration-resistant sole that also resists oil and fuel, and an enclosed heel area. Its ESD capability to EN 61340-4-3:2001 makes it suitable for electrostatic-sensitive workplaces, since it dissipates static charge in a controlled way. Classification under DGUV112-191 further helps in choosing the right safety shoe for the job at hand.
This makes the FlexStar a strong choice for dry areas in production and warehousing, as well as for ESD workstations where electronic components or sensitive equipment are handled. Available in sizes 36 to 48, it covers a wide range of applications from trade businesses to logistics operations.
