The RUNNEX® FlexStar is an S1PS safety shoe with ESD protection from the latest generation of the activeBumper series. It's built for anyone who wants a sporty, modern shoe for everyday work without giving up on protection, whether that's in a workshop or a warehouse. Its timeless black/grey design makes it an understated companion that doesn't feel like a typical safety shoe.
The breathable mesh upper keeps feet cool even during long shifts, while TPU reinforcements around the toe cap and heel add extra protection where it's needed most. Inside, the RUNNEX® SPORTY functional lining combined with the SOFTtouch heel lining creates a comfortable, sock-like fit. The grey PU outsole with black PU midsole and the RUNNEX® activeBumper cushioning noticeably absorb impact with every step, easing strain on joints and back throughout the day.
Certified to EN ISO 20345:2022+A1:2024 in safety class S1PS FO, the shoe meets the requirements for safety footwear with an enclosed heel area, antistatic properties, heel energy absorption and fuel-resistant outsoles. The additional ESD rating according to EN 61340-5-1:2016 ensures controlled dissipation of electrostatic charge, making it suitable for sensitive electronic work environments. As category II PPE, it provides solid baseline protection in line with DGUV112-191.
This makes the FlexStar a strong choice for dry work environments in industry, trades and logistics, as well as for ESD workplaces where preventing electrostatic discharge is essential. Available in 17 sizes from 36 to 52, it accommodates a wide range of foot sizes across a workforce.
