The Tyvek® 800 J protective coverall is built for tasks that call for full-body protection against chemicals, fine particles and biological hazards. It is aimed at industrial users, laboratory staff, cleaning crews and hazardous-material teams who need broad, certified protection they can rely on. The bright orange, heat-taped seams are not just a safety feature but also make the wearer easy to spot from a distance.
The outer fabric is made entirely from HDPE Tyvek®, a material that stays soft and lightweight despite its protective role while remaining breathable to air and water vapour. In practice this means less heat build-up and better wearing comfort during longer shifts. The hood, sleeve and leg cuffs are elasticated, an integrated elastic strip at the back ensures a good ergonomic fit, and thumb loops keep the sleeves from riding up during work. The Tyvek® zip with its self-adhesive flap closes off the seam so the protective barrier is not interrupted at the closure.
Certified as PSA category 3, type 3-B/4-B/5-B/6-B, the suit covers a wide range of hazards: it is liquid-tight to EN 14605 (type 3), spray-tight to EN 14605 (type 4), particle-tight to EN ISO 13982-1 (type 5) and offers limited splash protection to EN 13034 (type 6). EN 1073-2 confirms protection against radioactive particle contamination, EN 14126 confirms resistance to blood and viruses, and EN 1149-5 certifies antistatic properties. This makes the coverall suitable for work involving low-concentration water-based inorganic chemicals, hazardous particulates, and settings with elevated requirements for biological safety or electrostatic discharge control.
The coverall is supplied as bulk pack ware in a case of 25 units, making it a practical choice for businesses with regular demand for disposable protective clothing, such as chemical plants, construction and industrial maintenance, cleaning services, or asbestos and contamination remediation work.
