Product information "Protective Suit Tyvek 600 Plus"
The Tyvek® 600 Plus protective coverall is built for work involving chemicals, fine particles or biological hazards, where a high level of protection is essential but all-day wearability still matters. It suits industrial, laboratory, cleaning and hazardous waste applications, and its PSA Category 3 classification places it well above basic disposable coveralls.
The fabric is pure HDPE Tyvek®, a nonwoven material that repels moisture and fine sprays while still letting air and water vapour pass through – in practice that means noticeably less heat build-up than with many other chemical protective suits. Seams are both sewn and heat-taped, giving them the same barrier performance as the fabric itself so there is no weak point in the protection. The suit is antistatic on both sides, low-linting and silicone-free, making it suitable for sensitive work environments as well.
Looking at the standards, EN 14605 (Type 4) certifies the suit as spray-tight, EN ISO 13982-1 (Type 5) as particle-tight, and EN 13034 (Type 6) as limited splash-tight, so a single garment covers three protection levels against liquids and solid particles. It also meets EN 1073-2 for protection against radioactive contamination, EN 14126 for protection against blood and viruses, and EN 1149-5 for antistatic dissipation, which matters in explosion-risk areas. An elasticated hood, tight-fitting mask seal, Tyvek® zip with self-adhesive flap, and elasticated cuffs, ankles and waist all help the suit form a reliable seal, including when worn with respiratory protection. Thumb loops also keep the sleeves from riding up during work.
The coverall is available in sizes M to 3XL and supplied in packs of 100, making it a practical choice for businesses with ongoing chemical, particle or biological protection needs.
