The Portwest Compositelite Derwent is a safety shoe in a low-cut trainer style that pairs a classic sneaker look with the demands of proper protective footwear. Its contrast colourways give it a more casual, everyday feel than a typical bulky work boot, without compromising on protection or function. It's a good fit for anyone who wants a lightweight, easy-to-wear shoe for both indoor and outdoor settings, from warehouse work to transport and trades.
The moulded TPU upper is combined with a mesh back panel, which makes the shoe noticeably more breathable than traditional leather footwear. Over long shifts or in warmer working environments, this means less heat build-up inside the shoe. A well-padded comfort footbed and a rear pull tab for easy entry round out the fit, helping to reduce foot fatigue over the course of the day.
