The teXXor® NEWCASTLE hi-vis safety vest is a certified high-visibility vest in fluorescent yellow, designed for anyone whose safety depends on being seen. Available in eleven sizes from XXL to 3XL, it fits almost any build, making it just as suitable for a single tradesperson as for equipping an entire team.
The outer fabric is a lightweight polyester knit that keeps the vest comfortably breathable even when worn over workwear for extended periods. The dark-toned hem section is more than a styling detail: it visibly helps prevent the vest from showing dirt quickly, cutting down on maintenance in day-to-day use. A covered front zip keeps the front smooth and free of snagging points.
Two encircling body reflective stripes and reflective stripes across the braces, each 5 cm wide, provide all-round visibility from virtually any angle, including a driver's peripheral view at dusk or in the dark. The vest is certified to EN ISO 13688:2013 + A1:2021, the standard for general requirements of protective clothing, and to EN ISO 20471:2013+A1:2016, the standard for high-visibility warning clothing, placing it in PPE category II.
