The teXXor® WHISTLER hi-vis pilot jacket is built for anyone who needs to stay visible and protected outdoors in cold, wet conditions. Finished in bright yellow with reflective stripes running around the body, sleeves and shoulders, it keeps wearers visible from every angle – a genuine all-rounder for the colder months, exactly as its name suggests.
The outer fabric is 100% polyester with a polyurethane coating, giving the jacket windproof and waterproof properties without making it feel stiff or uncomfortable to wear. Inside, a 100% polyester lining with quilted padding provides real warmth, while knitted cuffs at the hem and adjustable sleeve cuffs help seal out the cold. The waterproof hood, tucked into the collar, can be pulled out and secured with its drawcord whenever needed, and stays neatly stowed away the rest of the time.
Classified as PSA Category II, the jacket meets three separate standards: EN ISO 13688 sets out the basic requirements for protective clothing, EN ISO 20471 confirms high visibility through the reflective stripes and bright yellow fabric, and EN 343 covers protection against wind and rain. That combination makes it suitable for work where being seen in traffic or on site matters just as much as staying dry and warm.
The WHISTLER is used across construction and road building, by public authorities and organisations, in waste management, vehicle and aircraft manufacturing, forestry, garden and agricultural work, skilled trades, mechanical engineering, and transport, logistics and warehousing – wherever people work outdoors in all weather and need to be clearly seen.
