The teXXor® VANCOUVER hi-vis pilot jacket is built for anyone working outdoors who needs to stay visible whatever the weather. It combines a windproof and waterproof construction with reflective strips running all around the body and sleeves, making it a solid choice for year-round use on construction sites, in road work, or in logistics. Removable sleeves, a zip-out fleece inner vest, and a waterproof hood let you adapt the jacket to changing conditions throughout the day.
The outer material is 100% polyester with a polyurethane coating, while the contrast material is 100% polyamide, also polyurethane-coated. This combination creates a tough, weather-resistant outer shell that keeps moisture out without feeling stiff or uncomfortable to wear. The 100% polyester lining and the removable fleece inner vest add extra warmth and can be taken out as needed, so the jacket works just as well in winter as it does in milder conditions. Testing also confirmed that the brightness of the hi-vis colours stays unchanged even after 5 wash cycles.
The jacket meets EN ISO 13688:2013 + A1:2021, the general requirements standard for protective clothing, EN ISO 20471:2013+A1:2016 for high-visibility warning clothing, and EN 343:2019 for protection against rain and cold. In practical terms, this means the jacket keeps wearers clearly visible in daylight and darkness while reliably blocking out wind and wet weather. As category II PPE, it is designed for workplaces with a moderate level of risk.
This makes the VANCOUVER suitable for construction and road work, government and public sector organisations, waste management, vehicle and aircraft manufacturing, forestry, garden and agricultural work, skilled trades, mechanical engineering, and transport, logistics, and warehouse operations.
