The teXXor® WHISTLER hi-vis pilot jacket is designed for anyone working outdoors in wind, rain and cold who also needs to stay visible. Its bright orange colour and the reflective stripes running around the body, sleeves and shoulders make it a genuine all-rounder for the colder months, offering far more than a basic hi-vis jacket.
The outer fabric, polyester with a polyurethane coating, makes the jacket windproof and waterproof while still feeling comfortable to wear rather than stiff. The solid quilted thermal lining made of polyester adds extra warmth on cold days, and the waterproof hood provides further protection when it rains. Two flap-covered pocket openings and one chest pocket give practical storage for everyday work without letting moisture in.
The jacket meets EN ISO 13688:2013 + A1:2021, the base standard for protective clothing, as well as EN ISO 20471:2013+A1:2016, which covers high-visibility performance by day and night — important wherever people need to be seen quickly in traffic or on construction sites. It also protects against wind and rain to EN 343:2019. As PPE category II, it is built for medium-level risks.
This makes the WHISTLER a strong choice for construction and road building, public authorities and organisations, waste management, vehicle and aircraft manufacturing, forestry, garden and agricultural work, skilled trades, mechanical engineering, and transport, logistics and warehousing.
