The teXXor® ERIE hi-vis shorts are built for anyone who needs to stay visible and protected on warm days without switching to full-length trousers. The contrasting navy waist panel stands out clearly against the fluorescent orange body fabric, and the same contrast treatment on the pocket openings helps disguise dirt and stains – a practical touch for anyone working outdoors or handling messy materials.
The main fabric is a polyester-cotton blend in twill weave at roughly 280 g/m², sturdy enough for daily wear on construction sites or outdoors while staying comfortable to move in. The slightly lighter contrast fabric complements it at the high-wear areas. Durable flat-felled seams and detailed interior finishing help the shorts hold their shape through regular use. An elasticated waistband with five belt loops keeps the fit secure and lets you adjust it to your body.
As certified hi-vis workwear, the ERIE shorts meet EN ISO 20471, the standard covering visibility of workers in daylight and in vehicle headlights – essential wherever people work alongside moving vehicles or traffic. Reflective stripes running around both legs improve recognisability from multiple angles. They also meet EN ISO 13688, which sets out the general requirements for protective clothing. As Category II PPE, the shorts are designed for tasks involving medium-level risk.
With two front pockets and one back pocket, the ERIE shorts offer enough storage for small tools and everyday items. Typical fields of use include construction and road construction, public authorities and organisations, waste management, forestry, gardening and agriculture, as well as skilled trades, transport, logistics and warehousing.
