The teXXor® ROCHESTER is a hi-vis work trouser designed for anyone who needs to stay visible on the job without giving up practical everyday features. The contrasting yellow and navy design is more than a styling choice: the thighs, seat area, hems and pocket openings are finished in the darker colour specifically to keep the trousers looking presentable even after repeated wear.
The outer fabric is a sturdy twill weave at around 280 g/m², giving the trousers the durability needed for physically demanding work, while the cotton content keeps them comfortable to wear over a full shift. The contrast panels use a slightly lighter fabric, adding flexibility exactly where the trousers see the most movement. Reinforced flat-felled seams and a zip fly point to construction built for daily wear and tear, and the elasticated waistband with five belt loops helps keep the fit comfortable throughout the day.
As certified personal protective equipment in Category II, the ROCHESTER meets the requirements of EN ISO 13688, which sets out general requirements for protective clothing, as well as EN ISO 20471 for high-visibility garments. The reflective strips running around both legs help ensure the wearer is spotted early in poor light or low visibility conditions, a key safety factor for anyone working near traffic, vehicles or machinery.
With two large front pockets, a rear pocket and a dedicated ruler pocket, the trousers are built for practical daily use. They suit construction and road work, disposal and waste management, logistics and warehousing, as well as trades, forestry, agriculture and garden work, and vehicle or aircraft manufacturing.
