The SECHO81P welding protection trousers from the Mauser product line are built for welders and metalworkers who need more than basic workwear on the job. With knee pockets, a reinforced seat pocket and several practical storage options, these trousers are clearly designed around real working conditions, not just around meeting a minimum safety standard.
They are made from heavyweight 530 g/m² cotton with a SECAN finish. That weight gives the trousers a sturdy, stable feel that holds up well to rough workshop use without wearing through quickly, while the finish reinforces the protection against sparks and heat. In terms of comfort, the fabric feels solid and substantial rather than light, which is exactly what you want in welding protection: durability takes priority over lightness.
The trousers are certified to EN ISO 11612, the standard for protective clothing against heat and flame. In practical terms, this means the fabric is treated to resist immediate damage from brief contact with flames, sparks or hot surfaces, offering solid baseline protection during welding and cutting work. As Category II PPE, they are designed for tasks involving a moderate level of risk.
