The BGWELH52 bib and brace trousers from Mauser are built for anyone working outdoors in changeable weather who needs dependable protection along with genuinely useful features. The inner lining adds extra warmth and comfort, making these trousers suitable for wear across a longer stretch of the year rather than just the warmer months. Numerous pockets, including a reinforced rear pocket and two bellow leg pockets with stretch straps and clamp buckles, provide generous storage for tools and personal items without restricting freedom of movement.
The outer fabric is a blend of 79% cotton and 20% polyester, with a small proportion of antistatic fibres. This combination creates a hard-wearing, durable base layer that still feels comfortable against the skin, making it well suited to daily use on site or out in the field. Concealed fastenings on the bib, front fly and pockets, together with button and hook-and-loop adjustments, allow the trousers to be fitted individually and stay in place even under demanding conditions. Flame-resistant reflective stripes sewn onto both trouser legs further improve visibility in poor light.
The trousers are tested to IEC 61482, a standard covering protective clothing against the thermal hazards of an electric arc flash. In practical terms, this means the fabric offers meaningful protection against the heat of an arc flash event, and classification in PPE category III confirms the correspondingly high level of protection this garment provides. That makes the trousers particularly suitable for work involving electrical installations or live components, such as electrical engineering, power supply work, or maintenance on technical equipment.
