Product information "Multinorm Work Trousers 94502BH APC 2"
The Multinorm trousers 94502BH from the Mauser product line are built for professionals facing more than one hazard on the job at the same time. They are aimed at electricians, welders and anyone working near open flames, heat or chemicals, covering this wide range of risks in a single layer of fabric.
The fabric is a blend of cotton, modacrylic, viscose and aramid, with a small share of antistatic fibres, at a weight of 450 g/m². This mix keeps the trousers wearable and flexible despite their protective function, so they do not feel stiff or bulky during work. Because the protection is achieved in one fabric layer rather than several, the trousers move more freely and sit more comfortably than multi-layer alternatives.
Tested to EN 17353, the trousers protect against the thermal hazards of an electric arc flash at class APC 2. They also guard against splashes of molten iron, against heat and flames, and against electrostatic build-up, and they resist chemical splashes. As PPE category III, they are designed and certified for tasks involving serious, potentially irreversible risks.
This makes the trousers well suited to work under high voltage, to foundry environments, to welding tasks and to handling chemicals, in short, to any setting where single-purpose protective clothing falls short and several hazards need to be covered at once.
