The Multinorm bib overall 1525LH from the Mauser product line is built for anyone facing flame and arc flash hazards on the job, such as electricians or technicians working near live equipment. Stretch braces with quick-release buckles keep it comfortable through long shifts, while the waistband with its knitted insert and wide belt loops allows freedom of movement without slipping.
The fabric blends 79% cotton, 20% polyester and 1% antistatic fibres at a solid weight of around 350 g/m². Its permanent flame-retardant and FC finish is designed to last through the garment's working life, not just the first few washes. In daily wear, the heavier fabric feels noticeably tough, yet the handle stays supple rather than stiff despite the protection it offers.
The overall meets the requirements of IEC 61482, which covers protection against the thermal effects of an electric arc flash – a key consideration for anyone working on or near electrical installations. As PSA category III equipment, it is intended for protection against serious, irreversible risks to health. A norm pictogram patch on the garment keeps this protection level visible at a glance.
Practical details round out the design: two rear pockets with flap and popper closure, a ruler pocket with flap, a leg pocket with hook-and-loop fastening, and a reinforced, ergonomically shaped knee pocket. Segmented reflective triangles add extra visibility, useful for outdoor work or poorly lit environments.
