The 94502LH APC 2 bib overalls from the Mauser product line are built for work environments where several hazards can occur at once: electric arc flash, heat, flames, molten metal splashes and chemical exposure. They are designed for professional users who need a single protective garment covering combined or changing risks, rather than switching between different pieces of clothing for each hazard.
The fabric is a robust blend of cotton, modacrylic, viscose and aramid with a small proportion of antistatic fibres, giving a total weight of 450 g/m². This combination results in a material that holds up to demanding daily use while remaining comfortable to wear rather than stiff or heavy. The arc flash protection class APC 2 is achieved in a single fabric layer, which means noticeably better freedom of movement and elasticity compared with multi-layer constructions.
The overalls meet the EN 17353 standard, providing protection against the thermal hazards of an electric arc flash. The fabric additionally protects against splashes of molten iron, against heat and open flames, against electrostatic charging, and resists chemical splashes. As Category III PPE, the garment is intended for use against serious hazards that can cause irreversible harm.
This makes the overalls well suited to work under high voltage, tasks in foundries, welding work and jobs involving chemical handling. Sizes range from 44 to 30 U, covering a wide span of body measurements.
