The RWS Hi-Vis Winter Traffic Jacket is built for people who work outdoors through cold, wet and low-visibility conditions, from road and civil engineering crews to utility workers and winter maintenance teams. The reflective tape is laid out in the well-known RWS configuration, and combined with the orange hi-vis colour it keeps wearers visible in poor light and bad weather.
The jacket pairs hard-wearing 100% polyester fabric with tough 300D Oxford fabric, a combination designed for sustained outdoor use and rougher working conditions. The seams are taped to keep water from getting through the stitching, and the PFAS-free Texpel Splash Eco finish makes rain bead off the surface instead of soaking in. The lining is removable, so the jacket can be adapted to changing weather rather than being useful only in the depths of winter. A storm flap at the front, a two-way zip, a stowaway hood and an adjustable hem cord all make the jacket easier to manage in wind and rain, while four pockets, including a concealed phone pocket and an inner chest pocket, give plenty of room for gear.
On the protection side, the jacket is certified to EN 342 for cold protection down to -40°C, so it holds its own in genuinely extreme temperatures. It's also certified to EN ISO 20471 after 50 washes, meaning the hi-vis performance holds up over time rather than fading with use. The fabric carries a UPF 40+ rating and blocks 98% of UV radiation, which matters for bright, sunny outdoor shifts as much as the cold-weather protection matters in winter. CE certification and UKCA marking complete the picture.
A branding access point makes it straightforward to add a logo or corporate design, which suits teams kitting out a workforce. The jacket is available from size S through to 4XL.
