The EV4 Hi-Vis Expedition Parka is designed for anyone working outdoors in severe cold and harsh weather who also needs to stay visible on the job. Its ergonomic design, with an extended back length and an improved fit, gives full freedom of movement throughout the working day without ever feeling restrictive or riding up.
The dynamic, waterproof stretch fabric is windproof and breathable at the same time, and taped seams keep water from getting in at the stitching. The Texpel Splash Eco finish makes water bead straight off the surface, and it does this without any PFAS. Inside, the high-loft down fill combined with InsulatexPro lining delivers real warmth without adding bulk, so the parka stays comfortable to wear even over long shifts. Details such as the snow skirt, internal wind cuffs with adjustable tape, and the double storm flap with rain gutter keep wind, snow and moisture well away from the inner layers.
The parka is certified to EN342 for cold protection down to -50°C, and it still meets the EN ISO 20471 hi-vis standard after 25 washes, so it keeps doing its job as certified visibility wear even with regular use. The heat-resistant, flame-retardant reflective tape adds further visibility in low light. With ten pockets, a detachable, helmet-compatible hood and a two-way zip, it is built for extended shifts in cold, wet conditions, making it well suited to winter road maintenance, outdoor construction sites, or work in arctic and subarctic environments.
