The "Extreme" bib and brace trousers from the PWR Rainwear™ collection are made for anyone working outdoors in tough weather who still needs to stay dry. They pair with the Extreme Parka or Bomber Jacket to form a complete weather protection system, and come with practical details such as the easy side entry, a side leg zip for quick on and off, and six pockets including a double rule pocket and a handy thigh pocket.
The Portwest Extreme stretch fabric is fully waterproof, with taped seams that stop water getting in at the stitch lines. The fabric surface is also highly water-repellent, so rain beads off rather than soaking through, while the breathable construction moves moisture away from the body to keep the wearer cool and dry rather than clammy. The elasticated side waist, adjustable buckle braces and the button-and-elastic chest adjustment let the fit move with the body, and the reinforced crotch gusset guards against seam failure during heavy use.
The trousers are certified to EN343 Class 4:3, meaning strong protection against wind-driven rain combined with good breathability, exactly what's needed when demanding physical work meets bad weather. After 25 washes they also meet EN ISO 20471 for high-visibility clothing, backed by reflective tape for better visibility in low light. CE certification and UKCA marking confirm compliance for both the EU and UK markets.
The knee pad pockets accept knee pads sold separately, making these trousers a strong choice for kneeling work such as road construction, landscaping or general site work, where long shifts outdoors in changing weather are part of the job.
