The PW3 Hi-Vis Winter Jacket is built for anyone who needs reliable protection and visibility outdoors in freezing, wet conditions: site managers, road and groundwork crews, winter maintenance teams or traffic marshals. Its modern cut and range of colour combinations also make it feel far less like standard-issue workwear than many hi-vis jackets.
The tough 300D Oxford fabric comes with a PU coating and dirt-repellent finish, while the PFAS-free Texpel Splash Eco treatment makes water bead off the surface instead of soaking in. Welded seams keep the jacket genuinely waterproof rather than just water-resistant, and double stitching holds up to the daily wear and tear of site work. Inside, the Insulatex lining reflects body heat back, which translates into noticeably better comfort during long outdoor shifts. Knitted cuffs and hook-and-loop wrist fastenings keep the fit snug and draught-free.
On the protection side, the jacket covers several standards at once: EN342 confirms cold protection down to -40°C, EN ISO 20471 certifies visibility on the road even after 50 washes, and the UPF 40+ rated fabric blocks 98% of UV radiation for sunny conditions. CE certification and UKCA marking round off its approval for professional use.
Beyond protection, the jacket is genuinely practical to work in: five pockets, a concealed phone pocket, a radio mic loop and a detachable hood make it a dependable choice for groundworks, construction sites or council winter maintenance teams.
