The PW3 Hi-Vis Winter Jacket is built for anyone who needs to stay visible and protected outdoors through cold, wet and low-light conditions. It suits workers in road construction, rail industry roles and general site work, where high-visibility and genuine weather protection both matter. Combining insulation, waterproofing and thoughtful features, it is designed for long shifts spent outside.
The jacket is made from Portwest Extreme, a soft-touch stretch fabric that is both waterproof and windproof while staying flexible, so movement is not restricted when reaching, bending or climbing. Insulatex Pro insulation keeps body warmth in without adding bulk or weight. Adjustable cuffs, a helmet-compatible detachable hood with a 3-point adjustment system, and an extended back length help the jacket adapt to different working conditions, including wear with a climbing harness.
On protection, the jacket is certified to EN343 Class 4:1, reflecting strong waterproofness and breathability that count during sustained rain. It also carries EN342 cold protection certification down to -36°C, making it suitable for work in extreme low temperatures. Its high-visibility performance is certified to EN ISO 20471 even after 50 washes, meaning visibility holds up over the working life of the garment. In orange, the jacket additionally meets RIS 3279-TOM for the rail industry.
With five pockets including an internal phone pocket, an ID card holder and a radio loop, the jacket is set up for practical daily use outdoors, such as trackside rail work, road maintenance or site work where high visibility and weather protection are both required.
