The PW3 Hi-Vis Winter Parka is designed for anyone working outdoors in freezing conditions who also needs to stay visible on the job. Part of the PW3 collection, it's aimed at trades such as rail, construction and highways work, and combines strong protective performance with a modern cut that doesn't look like traditional hi-vis workwear.
Built from tough 300D Oxford polyester and reinforced with double stitching, the parka is made to withstand demanding daily use without wearing out quickly. The thick Insulatex lining keeps body heat in, while taped seams and the PFAS-free Texpel Splash Eco finish make water bead off the fabric instead of soaking in. Thoughtful details such as underarm zips for extra breathability, adjustable drawcords at the waist and hem, and quick-drying knitted cuffs all add up to a jacket that stays comfortable as conditions change. Five pockets, a radio loop and a concealed phone pocket keep essentials organised and within easy reach.
For visibility, the parka is certified to EN ISO 20471, even after 50 washes, meaning the hi-vis performance holds up under regular working conditions. The HiVisTex Pro reflective tape is also heat-resistant and flame-retardant. The fabric carries a UPF 40+ rating, blocking 98% of UV rays, useful for outdoor work well beyond the winter months. The orange version additionally meets the RIS-3279-TOM standard for the rail industry, while CE certification and UKCA marking confirm compliance for both EU and UK markets.
With a detachable hood featuring optional fur trim, Velcro cuff fastenings, and branding options available, this parka suits individual tradespeople as well as fleet and corporate orders, for example with rail operators, councils or construction firms. It's available in Orange/Black and Yellow/Black, in sizes S to 5XL.
