The DX4 padded jacket is built for anyone working outdoors in cold, wet conditions who still needs freedom of movement. The heavy padding delivers noticeable warmth without making the jacket feel stiff or bulky, while the ergonomic cut with raglan sleeves gives you room to reach, bend and lift without restriction.
The fabric is hard-wearing, breathable, windproof and water-repellent all at once. The Texpel Splash Eco finish makes water bead straight off the surface, and it does so without PFAS, which is better both for the environment and for how long the water repellency actually lasts. Inside, the InsulatexPro lining provides real warmth without adding bulk, and the Flotec ventilation system helps stop moisture building up when you're working hard. The dynamic stretch fabric makes the biggest difference when you're crouching, twisting or reaching overhead all day.
The practical details stand out too: five pockets, including zipped chest pockets and a dedicated phone pocket, keep small items and valuables secure. The detachable hood, elasticated cuffs and adjustable hem cord let you adapt the jacket to the weather and your own preference, and reinforced stress points mean it holds up to daily use on site or out on the road.
