The TECHOMR01 multi-norm trousers from the Mauser product line are built for work environments where standard trousers simply are not enough. Designed for professionals working around electrical systems or in settings with heightened risk, they combine protective performance with practical features: two side bellows pockets, a rule pocket on the right leg, and a flapped seat pocket provide plenty of room for tools and small items on the job.
The fabric blend of modacrylic and cotton, with a small share of antistatic fibre, gives the trousers a sturdy feel at 320 g/m² while still remaining comfortable enough for extended wear. An FC finish adds to the fabric's protective properties. An elasticated inner waistband and six belt loops allow for a secure, adjustable fit, while the buttoned fly rounds off the considered construction. Reflective elements are also built in, improving visibility in low-light conditions.
The trousers are certified to IEC 61482, the standard covering protective clothing against the thermal hazards of an electric arc flash. In practical terms, this means the fabric is designed to protect the wearer from the sudden burst of heat that can occur during an arc fault in electrical equipment. Classified as PPE Category III, the trousers are intended to guard against serious, irreversible hazards, making them suitable for electrical work, switchgear tasks, and industrial environments with comparable risk levels.
