The Multinorm Jacket 1525JA from the Mauser product line is built for anyone who faces thermal and electrical hazards on the job, such as electricians or technicians working around switchgear. A stand-up collar, concealed press-stud placket and a practical layout of two chest and side pockets plus two zipped inner pockets also make it a genuinely useful piece of workwear for everyday use.
The fabric is a blend of 79% cotton, 20% polyester and a small share of antistatic fibres, woven to a substantial weight of around 350 g/m². This combination gives the jacket a durable, hard-wearing feel without becoming uncomfortably heavy over a full shift. Ergonomically shaped sleeves with an elbow overlay, together with knitted side panels at the torso and cuffs, noticeably improve freedom of movement when reaching overhead or working in a bent position.
The jacket carries a permanent flame-retardant treatment along with an FC finish and meets the IEC 61482 standard, which confirms protection against the thermal effects of an electric arc, the kind of hazard that can occur when working on live electrical installations. Classified as PPE category III, it is designed for tasks involving serious, irreversible health risks and is finished accordingly, with an applied standards pictogram patch and segmented reflective triangles for added visibility.
