The NOMEX® Multinorm Jacket 8403JAOE from the Mauser product line is built for anyone working in hazard-prone environments who still wants well-thought-out details in their workwear. Seven concealed press studs on the front closure, several hook-and-loop pockets and an ergonomically shaped, width-adjustable sleeve make it a genuinely practical choice for daily use. A turn-down collar and knitted inserts at the back, side seam and waistband add freedom of movement without compromising the fit.
The jacket is made from Nomex® Comfort, a blend of 93% Nomex®, 5% Kevlar® and 2% antistatic fibres. In practice, this combination means a fabric that is sturdy and holds its shape while still feeling flexible enough for repeated, all-day wear. The added Kevlar® fibres boost tear resistance, giving the jacket the durability needed to withstand demanding daily use over the long term.
Certification to EN 1149 confirms the fabric's antistatic properties, meaning electrostatic charge is dissipated rather than building up - a relevant factor in work environments where that poses a risk. As PSA category III equipment, the jacket is designed to protect against serious, irreversible health hazards. Hi-vis yellow and reflective stripes across the shoulders, cuffs and waistband further improve visibility in low-light conditions.
Given this combination of features, the jacket suits professionals working in settings with elevated electrostatic risk who also need to stay visible, such as industrial environments or outdoor work during dusk and low light.
