The TECJAMR01 multinorm jacket from the Mauser product line is built for professionals who face thermal risks from electric arc flashes in their daily work. With its classic lay-down collar, concealed button placket and two flapped chest pockets, it looks like a solid piece of workwear that doesn't wear its protective function on its sleeve. Two flapped side pockets with hook-and-loop fastening and a left-hand inside pocket add practical storage for everyday tasks.
The fabric blend of 54% modacrylic, 45% cotton and a small share of antistatic fibre, at a weight of 320 g/m², results in a material that is tough enough for daily use while still feeling comfortable to wear. The antistatic finish reduces static build-up in the fabric, a real benefit in environments with flammable substances or sensitive electronics. Built-in reflective elements also improve visibility in low-light conditions.
The jacket is certified to IEC 61482, the standard for protective clothing against the thermal hazards of an electric arc. In practical terms, this means the fabric protects against the sudden burst of heat that can occur during a short circuit in electrical installations. As Category III PPE, the jacket is designed for tasks involving serious, irreversible health risks and is manufactured to a correspondingly high standard.
