The Madrid Hi-Vis Contrast Jacket from the Portwest Texo collection is a hi-vis workwear jacket for anyone who needs to stay visible and equipped on the road, on site or on the railway. Its modern fit and thoughtful pocket layout make it a genuinely practical piece of daily workwear, with five pockets including a top pocket sized for modern smartphones.
The polycotton fabric is built to withstand daily wear, with strong abrasion resistance and double-stitched seams that hold up under regular use. The Texpel™ Stain Eco finish keeps dirt and water from soaking into the fabric, which means the jacket stays cleaner for longer and needs less upkeep on demanding job sites. An elasticated side waistband and hook-and-loop cuff fastenings keep the fit secure and comfortable through a full shift of movement.
On the protection side, the jacket is certified to EN ISO 20471, and remains so after 50 washes, meaning the visibility of the reflective tape and hi-vis colour holds up over the long term rather than fading with use. The fabric also carries a UPF 40+ rating, blocking 98% of UV rays, a useful feature for anyone spending long hours outdoors. In orange, the jacket additionally meets RIS 3279-TOM for the rail industry, and it carries both CE certification and UKCA marking.
