The Blaklader High Vis Shell Jacket is built for anyone working outdoors in wind and rain who also needs to stay clearly visible. Whether on construction sites, in road work, landscaping or on the road as a driver, this jacket is designed for cool autumn and winter days and can be layered with an extra fleece underneath when temperatures drop further. The detachable, adjustable, helmet-compatible hood and the extended back section let it adapt to changing conditions and tasks.
The outer fabric is coated polyester in a twill weave with added stretch, waterproof to 11,000 mm and windproof, while a Ret value of 6.3 keeps it genuinely breathable. In practice that means rain and wind stay out while moisture generated by physical work can still escape, so the jacket doesn't turn clammy during active use. Welded, taped seams keep water from getting in at the stitching, and the brushed mesh lining at the collar and hood adds comfort for long shifts. Adjustable cuffs with velcro fastening and a drawcord waist let the fit be tuned to the weather.
As high-visibility workwear, the jacket is certified to EN ISO 20471: sizes XS-S meet class 2, while size M and above reach class 3, meaning notably higher visibility in poor light or near moving traffic. The 50 mm wide reflective tape across the body, sleeves and shoulders reinforces that effect. The jacket also meets EN 343 requirements for protection against rain and wind, and carries Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification, indicating the fabric has been tested for harmful substances.
